About Us
“Vote Yes
UHS” was formed by parents of children in the Unionville-Chadds
Ford School District. Originally, the group’s focus centered
on the
sharing of information with voters regarding the school
district’s proposed
plan for renovating Unionville
High School (and the need
for passing the referendum
which would have authorized the borrowing of construction funding).
We soon realized there is a need
to provide more than just
an opinion on a particular referendum.
As positions on our School Board open up, the voters also need
to hear
about the candidates running for those seats.
Our organization is therefore expanding its mission to encompass
the
broad range of issues which have critical impact upon our
children’s
educational experience. Therefore, our PAC has formally indicated
that it will also operate under the name "Partners in Education".
